Description
Check in and wait in a designated area before boarding to secure a prime viewing spot on the cruise boat. After a safety briefing, the boat departs from the Mooloolaba River.
About 15 minutes into the trip, you’ll reach the Mooloolaba river mouth where the whale watching begins. The vessel offers indoor and outdoor seating on multiple levels to provide clear sightlines in all directions.
The experienced crew will guide your spotting efforts, pointing out surface activities of humpback whales. You may also see dolphins, turtles, and seabirds during the cruise.
Whales often approach out of curiosity, displaying behaviors such as breaching, tail slapping, and spy-hopping near the boat. These encounters are natural and not controlled by the operator.
During the cruise, an onboard bar serves snacks, soft drinks, and alcohol (available after 10:00 AM) to keep you refreshed.
