Eastern Beaches

Just a 10 minute drive from Noosa...
You will find a stretch of coast known as the Eastern Beaches.  First stop Sunshine Beach.  With its wild waves and rugged coastline it is popular with experienced surfers. The northern end of the beach is a draw for dog owners as it's one of the few dog friendly beaches along this stretch of coast. The village at Sunshine Beach has a real local feel where bohemian meets stylish chic in the restaurants and bars. A must stop is Dukes Deli. Try their specials of the day or sample their scrummy selection of homemade meals and salads. Fratellini's restaurant is another tick on the to do list - the spaghettini with spider crab is known as the local's favourite.
Million dollar views...
The SLSC (surf and lifesaving club) at Sunshine Beach has undisturbed views to the ocean but their keenly priced food ensures it doesn't come with a million dollar price tag. The ever friendly SLSC's offer free drop offs in the local area so no need to worry about who is driving.

Moving along the coast you will find...
Sunrise, Marcus and Castaways Beach (another dog friendly beach.)  Squeak your feet in the sand and grab your boardies for some amazing surf along this breath-taking coast.
8 km on from Sunshine Beach...
You reach Peregian Beach. Peregian Beach is a safe patrolled beach and good for surfing and swimming. The village at Peregian is bigger than that of Sunshine Beach village but somehow not as polished. Peregian village retains an earthy, friendly feel. Sip coffee at Shanghai Sally's and plan your day with their breakfast offerings. Visit the arts and crafts markets every first and third Sunday of the month (7.30am until 12.30pm + every Sunday throughout December) or make like a local and cut your groove at the Peregian Originals - an open air event that celebrates live music and brings Sunshine Coast community together .
Visit the Eastern Beaches to get away from the crowds on your holiday but sshhh!... let´s keep it our secret!
