1) Step one - Get hooked on kites! 1hr lesson: Using a training kite learn about the wind window, the key to the sport, setting up, safety, self launching and landing, parking, power strokes, figure-8, S-signs, handle passes and even kite loops......... Wind and weather topics are also covered.

2) Step Two - Recently Addicted! 2hr Lesson: In this lesson you will be flying a proper kitesurfing kite.

You will learn how to correctly inflate and setup a water re-launchable kite. You will practice flying your kite on the beach as well as in the water. You will learn the basics in kite flying such as site selection, wind direction, and safety procedures for both land and water. You will get plenty of hands on kite flying experience helping you to develop essential core kite flying skills. You will cover the finer aspects on safety, kite flying protocols, theory, harness techniques, kite re-launch, kite landing, and basic self rescue procedures. With the guidance of your instructor you will practice body dragging with kite and board in the water, self rescue technique, water start techniques, and landing your kite. By the end of this program, you willl be ready to move on to the next step: getting up on the board and having your first ride!

3) Step Three - Fully Addicted! 2hr lesson: This session is designed to provide you with all the additional basic skills needed to start riding safely on your own. If necessary we will go over more of lesson one and two until you are ready to move on. If you are on track this is what to expect......

You will get up on the board for your first ride and hopefully ride in both directions. We will quickly revisit the water start and get you up on your feet! Once we have done this, you will learn how to control your edge, and your speed, you will learn how to turn around and get back to the beach where you started. Upwind riding theory and practice will also be covered.

Some riders may like another two hour session to consolidate their new skills and gain confidence.
